Your brand is saying something about your business. Is it saying the right thing?

Most business owners outgrow their branding before they realise it's happened. I build brand identities that reflect where your business actually is and where it's going.

Your brand isn't just a logo. It's the first judgement people make about you.

Before they read your copy. Before they check your prices. Before they decide whether to get in touch. They've already formed an opinion based on how your business looks.

If your branding was put together quickly at the start, or designed by someone who made it pretty without making it strategic, that first impression might be costing you clients you'll never even know about.

A bit uncomfortable, isn't it. But that's exactly why it's worth fixing.

Good branding shouldn't be something you've outgrown. It should be something you grow into.

Most designers will make you something beautiful. That's not enough.

Twenty years in marketing. Fifteen building my own businesses.

When I design your brand, I'm not just thinking about whether it looks good. I'm thinking about whether it works.

Does it translate on a website header?

Does it hold up at small sizes on a phone screen?

Is it consistent whether you're writing a proposal, posting on Instagram or sending a newsletter?

Branding built around how you actually use it makes every bit of marketing you do easier. That's what I design.

"What I appreciated most was that she didn’t simply agree with everything I suggested..."

Recent Brand Identities

Auric Lab brand identity design, a marketing consultancy for female founders

Challenge: Auric Lab is a marketing consultancy for female founders but her existing brand wasn't attracting the right calibre of client. She needed an identity that would speak specifically to established service providers and specialists working at a level where they could genuinely invest in her support, rather than early-stage founders still finding their feet.

Outcome: Inspired by editorial typography and high-contrast, Vogue-style imagery; bold black and white photography, a flash of red the identity signals confidence, expertise and premium positioning before a single word is read. It immediately filters in the right client and filters out the wrong one.

Modern Annexe brand identity, a logo design for a premium garden annexe company

Challenge: A bespoke annexe company competing on quality, not price, in a market where most competitors lead with cost.

Outcome: A geometric, monochrome identity that signals precision, permanence and premium exactly what their clients need to see and feel before making a significant investment in their home.

The Great Empowerment Society brand identity, a bold logo design for a movement celebrating going grey

Challenge: A movement founded by a premium hairdresser to change the conversation around going grey — reframing it from something to hide into something to be proud of. The brand needed to do more than look good on a website. It needed to work as a logo system flexible enough to carry the message onto merchandise; hats, bags, jumpers, T-shirts so the community could literally wear the movement and spread it further.

Outcome: An identity built entirely around the tagline "A privilege, not an age" bold, confident, and designed from day one to translate cleanly onto fabric and print as well as screen. A brand strong enough to become a wearable statement, not just a logo.

A bold, energetic logo featuring a playful rhino mascot in motion, capturing fun and confidence for young players. The shield shape gives a sports-club feel and the navy and gold colour palette adds a professional edge. The football-themed lettering brings personality to the brand and keeps it child friendly and memorable.

A strong, structured wordmark with a sleek flowing underline that mirrors alignment and balance. The subtle lilac accent sitting inside the I adds a modern, feminine edge, giving the logo a professional but approachable feel for this ADHD mentor &life coach.

A relaxed, coastal inspired serif font in a soft sea green paired with warm copper lettering. The palette reflects Cornwall’s teal coastline and historic copper mines, giving the logo a calm, boutique feel with a nod to local heritage. Ideal for a welcoming holiday stay

The deep navy backdrop and copper accents give a premium feel while the tall serif lettering adds elegance and confidence. A playful, child friendly identity with leafy elements integrated into the lettering. The circular leaf icon is bold and memorable and the bright mixed colour palette creates a fun, eco positive feel. Perfect for a brand aimed at families and sustainability.

It might be time for a brand refresh if…

Your business has grown, but your branding still looks like it did when you started out

You're embarrassed to send people to your website or hand over a business card (we've all been there 😉)

Your visuals don't reflect the quality of the work you actually do

You know you need to look more established; you're just not sure where to start

Brand projects are scoped to what your business actually needs.

A full identity system with launch assets is a different project to a logo refresh and two templates and the investment reflects that.

What I will say: I work with business owners who are ready to invest in their brand properly. Not just in getting something done.

Getting to Know Your Business

A discovery call first; a conversation about your business, your audience, and the kind of visual direction that feels right. Not a brief-filling exercise. This is how I make sure what I create actually fits your business rather than just looking good in isolation.

Logo Creation

Before I open a design tool, I research your industry, your competitors, and your audience. I want to know what's already out there before I decide what you should look like.

Three initial concepts always in monochrome first, so the design stands on its own before colour is added. Each with a rationale explaining the thinking behind it. You choose your direction. I develop it into a full logo suite.

Brand Build & Assets

Logo confirmed; now I build out the full identity. Colour palette, typography, visual style guide, and any marketing materials included in your package.

Everything you need to use it consistently, with clear guidance on how to apply it as your business grows.

Anyway. Here's what people actually say...

If your brand isn't doing your business justice: let's change that.

Twenty minutes. We'll talk about where you want to take your business and what a brand that actually reflects that looks like.

Clear strategy. Strong brands. Websites that work. For established business owners who are done guessing.
